Thursday Thirteen #5 – First 13 Photos Off My Camera
I must admit that this choice for a 13 is really just another excuse to display a few of the 100′s of photos I have taken of the Mississippi since I moved. It is also an easy way to choose which ones, pluck the first 13 off the memory card, resize them and plunk them in a very basic flash movie. Now if only my hosting/server were functioning correctly and it was hosted locally instead of out there on the www somewhere. Oh well, guess you can’t have everything.

Gattina – I have 100′s of just our little stretch (20-25 miles), and at least half of them come from an even smaller area (about 5 miles). It is my goal to do a little travel up and down, and even across the Mississippi to get a better look.
Pamela – I have Flash so I have templates made by others and myself to do easy drag and drops, or when the mood strikes I can do a totally new creation.
Considering the length of the Missisippi, 2,320 miles (3,730 km)13 pictures are not a lot, lol !

I’m not sure why but I like the one of the plane the best. I think maybe because it reflects your action of looking up and trying to snap off a shot – and the beautiful big blue sky once again showing how small man is compared to Mother Nature.
