There always seem to be the most spectacular sunset skies when I don’t have a camera; but on Wednesday as we were coming out of Wal Mart I managed to catch a sunset moon in the clouds. I did it once with flash and once without. While I’m not as pleased with the final photos as I was with the sky itself, it is a step in the right direction to finally have my camera with me during these opportunities.

The moon is not too bright as it sits among the clouds. Which is fine, because the quiet pastels are not brilliant, instead more of a light glow. very soft. Who needs loud neon colors above, when this miix of pink, purple and moonglow are so easy on the eyes??

Sorry you had troubles Tisha! My hosting is a little erratic at the minute, they are having server issues.
I had a hard time getting to the comment forum…BUT now that I am here, I wanted to say that I have to go to Wal-Mart this afternoon. With 3 kiddos tagging along it’s a sure bet I won’t be looking skyward. *LOL*
