Thursday Thirteen #8 – 1st 13 Songs Off The MP3
I have this absolutely ancient mp3 player that will hold as many songs as the SD card you put in it can hold. It sucks with playlists, so I tend to put a 8GB card loaded with music and put it on randomize. That some artists come up more than once when I made this list, gives a clue to just how much of their music is on the current card.

I love Second Chance by Shinedown! I just downloaded it the other day. After hearing it on the radio, I really liked it, but had no idea who sang it or anything, after finally figuring it out, I found it and downloaded it. I could listen to that over & over again.
I love David Cook too.

I don’t know what it is about Kelly Clarkson but I’m a fan. I don’t really own music – I just listen to it as I come across it on the radio or at the gym or as background in a store, etc. My hubby owns a gazillion CD’s – but I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t seek out Kelly. Something about her voice, style, personality makes me want to root for her.

Yep, it’s a little sad, I admit. But the saddest thing would be if we’d never had the chance to hear their music at all.
When I think of the incredible talent out there, waiting for their big break…trying to be at the right place, at the right time, with the right song material…and to die without being discovered and given a chance to share their songs with the world…
