Okay I confess this is photographs, not photograph, but I just couldn’t resist sharing Little Miss Totally Unafraid with you all.
Meet Lola, she’s a red tailed boa constrictor…
I really didn’t know how she would react to the idea of patting a snake, especially one so big. Miss Muffin didn’t seem to think there was anything unusual about the idea and squatted right down to get a good feel. This is Miss Muffin meeting Lola for the first time, I hope she doesn’t want to bring her home…
Other kids got bored, but not mine. We stayed right there until the music for the penguin show started up…
…and then magically Lola, the boa constrictor was forgotten. Until she got to brag to Grandma that is.

Ok I had to skip down past the pictures. I’m up early cuz I had a nightmare about a snake (yeah I know what it means) and I couldn’t look at this one.

My poor heart!!! I hate snakes and this scared the b-jesus out of me. LOL
My kids would pet them too….me? I’d run. I swear if I had something like that in my yard, I’d move out.
I think it’s great that she’s unafraid. I wish I hadn’t waited until I was over 50 before I touched a snake. They’re very cool.

Ummm. I’m not afraid of snakes but I’m not crazy about them either. Your kids are BRAVE!
I’m not sure whether or not I could get that close to a snake. I would be tempted to touch it, I know that much. Snakes are such bizarre creatures for me, and I appreciate you sharing these intriguing photos! and, thanks for stopping in at my place to say Hi!
