Random Peeks Into Our Everyday Lives

Monochrome Monday #8

Monochrome Meme

These are from our walk on the Mississippi at sunset last Tuesday. The drift wood, rock, and scrap concrete that cover the bank always fascinate me.

While we were relaxing and waiting for the sun to set I took a few pictures of the weeds that have managed to grow up through the rubble on the embankment. The first one I forgot I had the flash on, the second is without flash; for the first time in a long time, I like the flash one better.

And then just because I can, here is a shot of my girl checking out the rubble and the currents. She would really like to get all the way down to the water’s edge but I’m not so sure about that.

Hi..me too, I really enjoy this type of thing. I know what you mean, sometimes the flash does look good and its worth fooling around. Theses are terrific.
I kept messing around and maybe posted another blog too soon after submitting the mono..funny the animals were in mono/sepia and focal? I was so indecisive) so the other down then re-posted it of the kitten..she’s back up (on top of the dogs nose) Thanks for your comments.
