Thursday Thirteen #12

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things I Did Today Instead of Blogging

  1. Did a workbook section for my daughter, that she would end up not doing.
  2. Got new insurance for the car.
  3. Searched online for all the paperwork to register the car in our new state.
  4. Searched desperately for the car title.
  5. Got an oil change for my poor abused car.
  6. Finally had the brakes repaired.
  7. Read an entire James Patterson novel.
  8. Shuffled money from one bank to another.
  9. Went shopping for a present for my Mother for her birthday.
  10. Did some grocery shopping.
  11. Made nachos for dinner.
  12. Watched Grey’s Anatomy.
  13. Watched Private Practice.

Of course now I feel guilty, like honestly how long would it have take to write something earlier. But then I would have felt compelled to visit others and all that good stuff. Oh well, I’ve posted now…

I love Grey’s Anatomy! And James Patterson. But however did you finish a whole novel in one day and get all the rest done, too?

We all need to unplug every now and then. Too bad you couldn’t have spent the whole day reading, but at least you accomplished some good things.

A clarification on the workbook is that we homeschool, so each week I make a workbook with all her assignments, worksheets, etc. so that papers don’t wind up lost or forgotten. This week has been crazy so I have been printing one day at a time and adding them to the workbook. However, yesterday worked out so that she never got to anything but reading.

Wow! I could never read an entire novel and do all those other things in one day. AND you still managed to post a TT. I applaud you.

Sounds like a great day to me overall (though as a retired teacher methinks doing your daughter’s workbook is a bit odd). Thanks for helping me celebrate my 2nd Blogoversary at Small Reflections. Today is my 2nd Blogoversary at Sacred Ruminations. I’ve written a bit of Haiku and a created a multi-mosaic of skies I’ve shared previously. I hope you’ll drop by as time permits to help me celebrate again. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
    Hugs and blessings,

Sometimes the computer is not the most important thing even though it thinks so.

You read an entire James Patterson novel in one day? Let alone doing all the rest too. Wish I could read that fast.
