Busy Day
So, today was Skittles first day back with her fabulous meme Heads *or* Tails and I missed it. I missed my Tuesday Teaser as well. It was just one of those days. The garage needs to be cleaned so I will be able to park the car in it when the really ugly weather arrives. The munchkin needs to be homeschooled and read to and played with. The groceries need to be bought, the laundry done, the house cleaned, the meals cooked, and the dishes washed. And, there is that 50,000 word novel that I’m getting behind on!
Today just became one of those days where I couldn’t do it all and do the blog stuff as well. I feel bad when I don’t get out here and participate; but there really are moments when it seems overwhelming. I’m trying to give myself a break I don’t want to get to the point where I was last spring when I just scrapped it all and quit blogging, I need to find some kind of balance. I’m just not sure where to start.
I’ll warn you now, there probably won’t be a Wordless Wednesday tomorrow, unless I’m suddenly inspired or the day sprouts extra hours; but I will at some point find my way out here and post something about something. Who knows I might even find a photo to go with it all. And next week I promise I’ll be there for Heads *or* Tails.
Real life always comes before blog life. How else would we have anything to blog about?

that 50,000 words is quite the buggaboo, isn’t it? I’ve been struggling to get my word count up enough while dealing with broken down cars, a broken down refrigerator, property taxes, delinquent kids, etc. etc. It aint easy.
