Passed A 1,000 Comments Today
Wow, it’s a blogging milestone I wondered if I would ever reach the first time I blogged. Then I gave those blogs up and after a five month hiatus started again. This time I knew it was possible the question was how long it would take. The answer is just a few days short of five months.
As excited as I am over this milestone, I do wish that I’d received even one one real job offer in that time. There are days when submitting resumes, going on interviews, and filling out applications seems to be a huge waste of time. It’s not even like I’m looking for work in one of those exclusive careers, I just want a job that pays the bills and perhaps provides even the most basic health insurance.
Oh well, guess I have to take it for what it is and enjoy. Maybe 2010 will bring the job I’ve been longing for…
