American Idol – Atlanta Auditions
So another 90 minutes of American Idol auditions tonight coming to us straight from Atlanta. Mary J. Blige is the guest judge and the hopefuls ride up and down a glass elevator to visit the judges. Talk about a long lonely ride if you get rejected.
I don’t think the quality of the hopefuls was anywhere near as good as the Boston group. Again there was a really low number through to Hollywood, just 25 this time around. Vanessa Wolfe and Mallorie Haley stood out for the girls, and for the guys it was Bryan Walker, Jermaine Sellers and Antonio “Skiiboski” Wheeler (he’s just too funny).
Now we have to wait until next Tuesday 8e/7c for the Chicago auditions. Feel free to chime in and name your favorites.

I thought the elevator ride is reminiscent of the long walk at the end of Hollywood Week.
