Not Much of a Post
9:59am – I’m going to start trying to move the blog over to the new server today, doesn’t that sound like fun. Hopefully all will be well by tonight.
4:26pm – So hopefully this has all been really successful and the blog will now behave as it is supposed to. I even did the database creation and self installed the wordpress since the Go Daddy installation won’t work with the configuration I have. I’ll give it a day or two before I totally kill the old one but so far I’m pleased with how everything is working.
8:21pm – Well, there were a few small glitches, things I forgot to transfer, and the ever present issue of the tags not working correctly. I think I’ve gotten it all now, but if you run across something please leave it in a comment.
10:11pm – It’s been a long day of sitting in front of the computer and sitting in the livingroom trying not to go crazy waiting, I swear if I sit much longer I’ll be looking into what the best hemorrhoid pain relief options are. Time to get up and do something, tomorrow will be soon enough to fix the colors on this blog. Good night all, see you for LATSOF tomorrow.
Don’t forget to update the url you leave in your comments. And congrats for getting it done so quickly. When I did it last summer it took me most of a week to get everything shaken out. In fact, I’m still working on it.
