It’s been a long road back to a functioning blog and it really is too soon to say that switching servers has solved the issues; but I’ve already noticed some major differences in the ease of setup and the speed my sites run at. I think I’ve caught all the little moving snags but please speak up if you run across something that isn’t working right.

The photos above are from this past Tuesday, the first day in a while where it was warm enough to stand outside with a camera. I think that growing up I minded the cold less because when you came in from outside you got warm. This isn’t necessarily true in southern houses, our tile floors are as cold as the ground outside.

I know I really shouldn’t complain, in a few weeks it will be time to think about things like flower beds, lawn mowers, and pond pumps. I’m just having a hard time keeping my eyes on spring when my feet are always frozen.

The sky is gorgeous in both shots.

It’s way too early for me to think about spring. I’m just ticked that we are now halfway through January! :)

It may have been cold out, but the beautiful colors of the sunset must have warmed you a bit.

    Happy sky looking!

Both skies are BEAUTIFUL and I’m so glad you’re back! I’ve been wondering why I couldn’t connect with you lately. Everything looks good but I’m getting that the transition was a challenge. Thanks for dropping by ;-)

The wonderful sky looks warm in that fine yellow-orange hue. The soft sky suggests a painter at work on canvas, the look of relaxation. Of course it was cold when taking, but illusory warmth can substitute for real in this case…

Sorry to hear of you website frustrations! At my house the internet wouldn’t let me visit blogs for about the past 2 weeks, but for some reason today it’s working. A little different than your issue, but I am sure you were just as frustrated if not more. I love the beautiful reds in your sky! Hope that you have a great weekend!

The sky was so beautiful a few weeks ago here and it was SO cold. I braved it to get a couple of good shots of the sun rising. It was worth it, but took a while to thaw out! *LOL* Thanks for braving the elements to get us some great shots. ;)

    Have a good weekend!

This was faster than before to me..(sometimes its worth the trouble) my own computer contributes to the problem because I haven’t backed up my pictures enough..not as orderly as I should be..so slow slow. Anway, these are gorgeous and as you’ve described the tile..I can feel for you. Here, it is getting cooler but I have less to complain about..but I do? Again..what lovely captures of colors peeking through a silhouette of trees! So peaceful. Have a great weekend,

I love those gorgeous pinks in the sky! and the trees silhouetted in front.

We recently got tile floors put in our kitchen and dining room and bathrooms. That tile sure does feel cold on the feet! I’m told that it isn’t actually any colder than the carpet or the old vinyl, it just transfers the heat better. Whatever. It feels colder!

We had a sunrise like this a few days ago. I really wanted a picture, but by the time I was dressed, it was gone.
