Monochrome Weekend #20

It has been another really cold week here, and I’m beyond pleased that we haven’t had anymore pipes burst, southern homes just aren’t built to withstand the cold.

The cold has really curtailed our activities though, it was too cold to hang out at the zoo, or walk in the park, or any of the other fun things I usually do with the half pint, she’s way to southern for anything under 40 degrees, never mind the temps we’ve been having. So mostly we sit around bundle up trying not to let our feet hit the cold tile floors, not even slippers can keep your feet warm here.

So it is with great joy and relief that I can report that today’s high was 69, perfect for a trip around town and parking way out in the parking lots. If it by chance the rains they’ve predicted for this weekend don’t show we might even go for a long walk at the nature center, so I can stop looking at nutrisystem reviews, and just get on with my life.

Now where is that purty cat going? Glad to see your up in the 60′s; we got up into the 40′s and are happy for that!

Your second shot of the water on the window is an excellent study in tonality.

Being a southern girl by birth I totally understand how it feels when the temps get that cold down your way. I like your photos but the ice is making me shiver too.
