Monochrome Weekend #21

The Monochrome Weekend

Memphis Fog

We’ve had lots of rain, mist, and fog lately. Not that I’m complaining mind you, as long as it stays in the upper 50′s or higher I’m a happy camper, my house was built for this kind of weather. We haven’t been out and about as much as you would think with this warm spell though, I think we are stuck in hibernate mode. At least a trip to the library provided the opportunity for photos and it sure beat comparing auto insurance quotes. Maybe this coming week we will manage to get out and about a bit more.

Hello! I have been reading through your blog articles and am pleased to tell you that as a fellow blog owner there is nothing that makes me happier than finding another blog owner that shares the same values as I do. I see that instead of using reused and recycled articles fom other blogs you are using your own unique content. I run several blogs in the pet and more specifically, dog niche. I would love for you to check them all out but unfortunately I am afraid that if I post all my links you will mistake me for spam. Therefore I will not post them all, but I would like to post the link to my most successful site for you to review. This is a community based site with forums, blogs, and many other functions. Please review it and contact me with your feedback. Thank you for your time. http://www.PetPedigreeDatabase.com/

I love the bridge in the background, it has an almost ghostly presence.

We’ve been foggy too. It’s one of those deals where I can’t say if the weather is odd, or that there has been a climate change. When I lived here 20 years ago, fog was rare. In the last two or three years it’s become fairly common. Good thing I like fog.

I like the “Temple of Deliverance” sign – makes me curious to visit and make it a photo shoot to see if the ad stands up to the claim. And, the skeletal bridge spans are powerful.

Dragonstar, yes that is the Hernando de Soto bridge, it’s shaped like a giant m for Memphis.
