Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly book meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following: grab your current read, open to a random page, share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page, BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!), share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I just started this one so this is really more of a random quote, it just caught my eye and gave me a laugh.
My Teaser:

Very interesting teaser! I had to go find out more about this book and the one before it. How sad that so many children enter the foster care system under such circumstances.
Excellent tease! Reminds me to move this book up in my reading pile.
Hmm..this is interesting. I haven’t read anything by her and happen to have a book sitting on my counter (haven’t read yet) which my sister passed along. Seeing I have the concentration span of a gnat lately..I’m more what you call, selective? But, I will cooperate..do you leave a link to your own page with the details?
