Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly book meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following: grab your current read, open to a random page, share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page, BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! My Teaser:
I turn to look at Clare and just for a moment I forget that she is young, and that this is long ago; I see Clare, my wife, superimposed on the face of this young girl, and I don’t know what to say to this Clare who is old and young and different from other girls, who know that different might be hard. But Clare doesn’t seem to expect an answer. She leans against my arm, and I put my arm around her shoulders.
The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I haven’t read this one but since I don’t read romance, I might never read it…I’ll just rent its dvd.
I like teaser you’ve chosen.
I think I might be the only person I know who didn’t like this book. I thought the writing was really simple, and I didn’t find the story romantic at all. I thought it was kind of creepy and controlling.
That being said though, I still plan on reading her next book out of curiosity.

I love this book! Before it came out they were handing out these little samples of the first chapter of the book. And right then and there I decided I would have to read it. Finally i borrowed it from the library and loved it. And now I have bought it for myself to read as many times as I want.
