The House
When we moved this summer we were fully prepared for an adventure. Little did we know that our house would turn out to be an adventure all by itself.
There were the doors with missing weatherproofing, simple to fix. Windows improperly installed, not so easy to fix. There is landscaping that causes the house to flood, temporarily fixed, the big fix will take more money and muscle than there currently is. There is the evil dishwasher that overflows whenever it wants with no particular rhyme or reason. There was the outside faucet with no shutoff and no insulation that burst in January, still need to fix the drywall over that fix.
Think that’s enough, well, I’ve got one more, a ceiling fan and light that for some reason overloads the office circuit. Hard to believe, but it’s true. Nothing else in this badly wired house causes a problem, but the office fan and light well, let’s just say it could shut the whole place down. I need to get the ladder out, climb up and take a look, I’m sure it will require electrical supplies and tools, some of which thanks to my Buppa, I’ll be able to find in the garage – somewhere…
It’s a good thing this move came with a great zoo, fun museums, and wonderful nature areas or I’d be ready to move again. Well, no not really, cause I hate moving, but that’s another story for another day.

Good post. I put you in my RSS reader now so I can read more from you down the road.
Now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it
