Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly book meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! My Teaser:
The mummy-style bag lay at right angles to the river, with the “head” part almost touching a log the Forest Service had placed there just where the sandy beach began. The shallow edges of the Lostine lapped softly against its shoreline. Otherwise, it was completely quiet. ~ pg 9
