We were thrilled to get a day warm enough, and dry enough to head down to the river for sunset. The dog enjoyed racing up and down the banking, and our girl collected tons of driftwood so she could make a pretend campfire for her dolls.

The ‘Mighty Mississippi’ looks so tranquil, not a mighty current right now. The river is calm, sitting under an equally if not more, calm sky. Both views are nice the sunny one a little bit more. Nice captures!

I like both for different reasons. ;- )The first one has a cloud that looks like it is moving…toward the left. I feel the motion.
The second one is gorgeous. I love the sun framed by the trees and the reflection. Nice!

I got several photos of that cloud I liked it so much. It just kind of hung over the Arkansas side of the river for the whole sunset.
I like that cloud a lot. (I have to be different!) The sunset is beautiful, also, of course! Thanks for the visit.

That second shot is just stunning, I love the reflection of the sunlight on the water. Hopefully we’ll get some sun here ourselves this weekend so that I can see it reflecting off of something!
