Upon reflection…
This has been an absolutely beautiful week, and we have done something “schoolish” outside almost every day. Monday was library day and we spent quite a bit of time sitting in their courtyard under the flowering trees reading. Tuesday was the nature center with it’s territorial nesting geese, and enough pollen to tint about a hundred gallons of paint yellow. Wednesday was the zoo, such fun to see all the animals out enjoying the warmth and sunshine, even the Komodo dragons venture out to enjoy the lovely weather. Yesterday Miss Muffin just played and played, hard to keep a kid in on a gorgeous spring day. Hopefully we’ll get down to the river later today and catch a little evening color. I use these weeks to remind myself that while things are sometimes tough, I could be working one of those fancy jobs in administration for some high powered company and missing all these moments.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell if the blue is the water, or the sky reflected by the water.
