Crazy Busy
Wow, it’s been crazy being a part of this employment class. It’s kind of like when you’re getting married and you have all those extra things to do like shopping for wedding decorations; but you have the same exact number of hours in the day.
I’m not a fan of getting up early, although I certainly have done so for years and years, and being gone from home 9 hours a day is a change after a long period of being home. The class will be done Friday so hopefully I’ll have a little more time to dedicate to the blog then.
I really can’t complain about the time I’m putting in though, I’ve learned some, met some great people and the opportunities they offer are fantastic. They get unlisted jobs, first stab at filling some listed jobs, and volunteer to employment opportunities for people without work experience or those trying to enter a new field. It’s great to see people who aren’t just pushing minimum wage jobs at you, they are seriously working to get everyone who’s interested into a real job, that offers a livable wage and benefits.
