Settling In…
We’re still catching some small glitches from the transfer, and one big one. Both Grandma & I belong to a graphics group and love to make bunches of cute little sig tags. To keep them accessible we have the great little pages that display them and make it easy to copy their urls. Unfortunately the page seems to have broken along the way. It worked on the windows server, and it works on the linux server where my daughter’s site is hosted but not on godaddy. Going to go and rip some more hair out.
Update – We did it! It was a matter of permissions and turning certain features on. Things that were automatically set up on the windows server, but automatically off on the linux server. I sure did learn a lot more about php and linux, more than I wanted to know actually. Now if all of those boring code sites had included interesting information about what diet pills are safe I might have stuck around after I solved my problem.
