Random Peeks Into Our Everyday Lives

Thinking

I’m working to finish up my Associates, something I should have done ages ago, and it’s got me thinking about careers. I need 1 required class and a bunch of electives, and allowed myself to get talked into a Accounting 101 and Small Business as my courses this semester. What I’ve learned is that I’m good at the math required in accounting, but the thought of doing it much past the end of this class makes me want to scream. The small business class is interesting, but they do spend a fair amount of time on small business finances and accounting, I guess the good thing is when I finish I won’t have to worry about accounting any more. I think think this pretty much rules out becoming an accountant, banking careers, or any financially based careers for me. Too bad, there’s good money to be made in these fields and at least some stability. Don’t worry, one of these days I’ll figure out what I want to be when I grow up…
