I’m not exactly sure why I let myself get into this again. The whole 2 big challenges in one 30 day time frame. Guess I’m just a sucker for punishment. I spent some time looking for a Monday meme but didn’t really come up with anything I liked so you are stuck with me aimlessly rambling along for today.
We are finally really in fall weather here and it’s time to break out all those long sleeve shirts and sweaters. I wish I could get a sweater that’s as soft as my calico, maybe some angora or cashmere sweaters. I just think it would be a great feeling on a cold day.
We did the whole trick or treat thing last night and even found the neighborhood haunted yard. We were with our neighbors and the little guy didn’t want to go through so I went with his sister and Miss Muffin while his mom stayed out with him, then we switched and I stayed out while she went through with the girls. Only Miss Muffin and I thought it was funny, guess she really is her momma’s girl. Every other person we saw was scared to pieces and bunches of girls came out crying.
Another year I’ll have to see if she wants to the corn maze at night. She really seemed like she wanted to this year and then she backed out. I think she was a tiny bit afraid of the “haunted” part. Now that she’s done the haunted yard, I’m betting she’ll love the haunted corn maze.
Now it’s time to work on NaNo, do some school work, and maybe even put in some time for my boss. See you tomorrow for Tuesday Teasers.
