The Tree Is Up
Yes, we did it, the tree came down from the attic, the ornaments came in from the garage, and the tree is about 75% decorated. It still needs a few more ornaments and some mini candy canes but overall I’d say we’re doing okay.
We watched a ton of Christmas movies while we worked including: A Golden Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Santa Buddies, and Barbie In A Christmas Carol. That last one was the killer for me and I quit 2/3 of the way through to go watch some old NCIS episodes. Everyday after school we’ll do some more decorating and hopefully finish by Wednesday or Thursday.
On a totally unrelated note I’m either going through a second puberty or all this holiday food doesn’t agree with me. I’ve never really had a problem with acne and I still don’t but I am suffering from several small pimples that are driving me nuts. Time to lay off the holiday treats and get back to basics.
