Random Peeks Into Our Everyday Lives

Full Dark, No Stars

Teaser Tuesdays

Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King

I’ve only read the first in this 4 novella collection, but I’m already in love. No one turns the everyday terrifying quite the way King does.

~ I looked down the well, and although it was only 20 feet deep, there was no moon and all I could see was the pale blur of the quilt. Or perhaps it was the pillow-case. ~ 1922

Read a bit of King. His writing can be overly dark, confusing, and very bloody at times, but feel he is a master story teller. Really want to read this one.

I have been waffling about buying this one. Your endorsement is enough. Great teaser. My TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/01/teaser-tuesdays-the-lotus-eaters.html

First of all – I LOVE the name of your blog!!!! Great teaser! I have been debating about reading this. I love SK, but am not a fan of short stories. I have heard great things about this one, though, so may just have to get myself a copy, lol!
Here is my teaser if you would like to check it out:

Knowing King, it probably wasn’t either quilt or pillowcase.

I’ve seen this in the bookstore, but never picked it up. The cover intruiges me. Adding this to my TBR too! Thanks!

I’ve never read much Stephen King. I do wonder why the quilt’s at the bottom of the well.
