Do You Remember?
Do you remember those slide show projectors they used to have in school? And how at least one slide was always backwards, upside down, or out of order? We used to look at slides at home when I was a kid. Heck there’s even a box or two out in the garage.
I got to thinking about those slides the other day and wondering what the best way to view and preserve them would be. Turns out you can pick up a used slide projector pretty cheap, and there are several places that will turn you slides into digital images for you.
What really intrigued me though was a samsung projector that can project images from your computer, internal, and external memory. As far as I can tell it wouldn’t play my slides as is, but I could always have them converted. Of course, then I’d have to paint a wall white, or all my pictures would be a strange shade of beige…
I remember those well! It always confused me how to load them. So glad to be digital now. It makes more sense to me. And you don’t have to be a mechanical engineer! I didn’t have slides, but I had some old videotapes transferred to digital format. It gets expensive!
