Computer Stuff
Here’s a really random list of computer related things we don’t think about much but probably should…
- Anti-virus software – I have it, it updates, sometimes I remember to run indepth checks, most of the time…
- Cleaning – yeah like dusting inside and out, washing the monitor, shaking out the keyboard, making sure the fans aren’t blocked or clogged
- Removing old apps – yeah we all have them, the software you install and never use but can’t bear to uninstall – dump it it’s only taking up memory
- Deleteing or Storing old files – I realize when I switched over to the laptop how many files I keep just because I forget they are there.
- data backup services – I keep thinking we should subscribe to one of these, since I can’t remember to do the backups myself. Our Windows 7 computers will backup on a set schedule easily enough but the others not so much.
