I was looking at home security and protection systems the other day and saw something new, home automation software. It allows you to manage many aspects of your home from a computer or cell phone. How great would it be to turn off the lights or change the temperature of your thermostat from a distance. How about never having to worry if you turned a burner or the oven off. Add to it that with many of these programs you get a security system, smoke & carbon monoxide detection, and severe weather notification it’s a hard deal to beat.
