Random Peeks Into Our Everyday Lives

Spam used to be something we took out of a can sliced thin, baked for 10 minutes, topped with mashed potatoes, peas, and shredded cheese, then baked for a 5 to 10 more minutes. It was a quick yummy dinner and if you wanted to use leftover mashed potatoes you just left them in them in the oven a little longer the second time.

Now spam is something that people try to leave on my blog in the form of junk comments. Fortunately they all wind up in my spam directory. I used to dread deleting them page by page but now all I have to do is check for real comments then hit “empty spam” and they all go bye-bye.

Now if only they would make the original Spam that easy to get out of the container…
