Feeling for the Phantom of the Opera
Guest post written by Betty Sparks
I knew that as soon as we decided that we were going to go to New York City for our family vacation this summer that we were going to have to go and see a Broadway play. It’s just something that you have to do while you’re there! Well my neighbor who’s been a few times and told me she’s been to at least one each time told me that I should go and see Phantom of the Opera. She said it’s the best one out there and I trust her taste in things, so I set my heart on it.
Before we went, I ordered tickets online to try and get the best deal for the show. While I was comparison shopping between sites ,I ran across the site http://hearingaids.miracle-ear.com/hearing_loss.html. I showed it to my husband and he agreed to get a hearing aid test. Then he came home with actual hearing aids.
I think he was glad to have them during the play. I know that he’s crazy, but I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the phantom. But then again, I guess that’s kind of the point of it, that you feel bad for him and scared of him at the same time, like Christine.

I love “The Phantom of the Opera” … I’ve seen it three times here in Toronto.
Happy blogoversary
