Planning the Next Step
My regular readers have heard a little about my recent journey to complete my Associate’s degree. Now that I’ve finished I’ve been looking into a variety of universities with the goal of completing my Bachelor’s in computer science. The choices are nearly endless and at times overwhelming.
One possible choice is Walden University’s online degree programs available on WaldenU.edu. They offer a Bachelor’s in computer information systems and a Master’s in information systems and technology both with focuses that are useful and relevant in today’s job market. This is an important factor for me when looking at programs because my ultimate goal is to further my career not just get a degree.
Because Walden University is a fully accredited university federal financial aid is an option along with scholarships, fellowships, and other financing options. This is important to me because there is no way I could afford a program that didn’t meet federal assistance requirements.
I like that their website is easy to navigate, quick loading, and filled with useful information. So many schools make you dig for information but with Walden everything is upfront and easy to find.
