Ads That Make Me Think

you ever wonder about the ads you see on tv even when they don’t apply to you? It may sound a little crazy but this happens to me all the time. I know that I’ll never use the product or that I have no need for it but I can’t help but investigate the product further.
One product that’s consistently caught my eye over the last few years is the electronic cigarette. I’ve questioned everything from how they work, what benfits they present to the smoker, and even what benefits, if any, they offer to the non-smoker. The longer they are around the easier seems to find information that may answer these questions.
E cigarettes typically consist of an atomizer and a nicotine solution cartridge designed to look like the rolled tobacco and filter of a traditional cigarette. Unlike traditional ones the e versions produce water vapor not smoke and the only chemical being inhaled is nicotine. Less junk is good for the smokers and less by products floating into the air has to be better for everyone.
Many people report switching to e cigs so that they can “smoke” in places where they have been banned from smoking tobacco products. Others use them as a way of quitting, reducing the strength of their nicotine solution over time while maintaining other aspects of the habit that are both familiar and comforting. I’m not sure that quitting that way would produce long term results; but considering the health risks involved with tobacco I figure anything is worth a try for those wanting to quit.
Well my husband who is a long time smoker and at times a heavy smoker actually considered this product. I can’t see him quitting anytime soon, but as you say, if it eliminates some of the harmful aspects of smoking then I give it two thumbs up….I just hoping one day he will quit for good!
