When we lived in Georgia we tried Dish Network twice and by the time we’d moved to Memphis we just knew it wasn’t for us. Our neighbors had Direct TV and swore by their service but I’ve always been a little gun shy to try a new satellite service.
On the other hand it’s hard to resist some of the great packages offered and because so many home systems are all inclusive now a days – phone, television, home security, internet – you want to choose a company that has been around a while and won’t just disappear leaving you hanging.
Friends in Alabama tell us that for home security Atmore‘s choice is authorized ADT dealers. ADT is a company I’m familiar with as well, they’ve been around a long time and several of my friends use them.
I used to be concerned about the term “authorized dealers” and wondered if I would get the same quality service as if I dealt with the company directly. Turns out sometimes you get better service because the company that you deal with on a day to day basis is smaller and more involved in the customer satisfaction process.
I’d be curious to see if Direct TV has any packages with home security options, make it a four in one bundle instead of the three in one I have now. I know I’d feel a lot safer with a great security system and who wouldn’t be happier with a reduced home entertainment bill.
