Terrorized

Imagine coming to in the pilot seat of a plane with no knowledge of how you got there or of how to fly the plane.
Tim Recker jerks awake heart racing, coated in sweat from this nightly recurring nightmare. This disruption has been the driving force in Tim’s life for nearly ten years and no one seems to have a clue why they happen or how to stop them.
Tim has even considered flying lessons but the terror generated by the nightmares is too strong and he never makes it farther than the front door of the local school.
Then one night everything changes, this is not a dream, Tim is actually in the plane and he’s all alone…
Join Miniyah Calrevary on a heart pounding journey where fantasy and reality collide and the ending leaves you breathless.
My blurb this week has 138 words.
Book Blurb Friday is hosted by Lisa Ricard Claro, who posts a weekly photo and challenges us to “write a book jacket blurb (150 words or less) so enticing that potential readers would feel compelled to buy the book.” That’s quite a challenge, but it’s a lot of fun as well. This is super! It reminds me of a time traveler who never knows of where they will be landing next. I’d love to read this whole story and see what happens next.

This sounds like a great read. I hope the surname of your character, “Recker,” isn’t a foreshadowing of what happens to his airplane! I love a psychological thriller, and this sounds to be a doozy.

Oooh–I have chills just from the blurb! This sounds like a fast-paced thriller that I would love to read!
A nightmare indeed! Let’s hope he’s good at obeying instructions!
Tim Recker (that sounds like wrecker, pun intended). The choice of name – did you think the same thing? Well, I really hope, if Tim is awake and alone, he is in a flight simulator.

Oh, what a good story! A dream becoming reality…this one I could really get into!

Ow, very scary. I dunno if I’d read it for fear of having nightmares myself. I think I’d buy it for someone else, then ask later how it ends.

I’d read this one just to find out how he got into that situation. Or was he just dreaming that he was awake? Hopefully this story doesn’t head downhill, if you get my drift.
