Television Envy
Okay, I admit it; I’m suffering from more than a little television envy at the moment. Friends got this gorgeous 60 inch LED 3D HDTV and it’s just so much fun to watch. Everything is so sharp and the colors are perfect, it was definitely a step down to come home and watch our TV.
Of course, it’s not like we have the room for a flat screen that size, it would be like watching a tennis match heads swiveling from side to side to see the whole screen. However, a smaller screen, perhaps a nice 40 Inch LED TV, would sit comfortably on the wall between our media shelves and free up the end table our current TV sits on.
We’d all need laptops though, because no one would want to sit at their desks facing their PC monitors if we had a nice new TV. I can just see the bill for new tech gadgets piling up. New TV, new laptops, new blu-ray player, perhaps even a new sound system; see how it grows. Perhaps even a new comfy living room set to relax in while we enjoy it all.
Yeah, I’m dreaming, all this definitely goes on the list with the home makeovers Grandma and I dream of; but it will be a while before any of it can become a reality.
