Do You?
Are 
you one of those people who throw the giant birthday parties with the fun games and the coordinated decorations. I’m not. I had a few of those parties as a kid and I’ve done a few for my daughter but always on a small scale and only occasionally. For the most part birthdays at our house are small family centered events that require little if any shopping for birthday party supplies.
Our neighbors on the other hand spend weeks planning and shopping for birthday party supplies. The entire neighborhood and all their extended family and friends are invited and the party lasts long into the night. They are a ton of fun to attend and I always enjoy seeing all the clever ideas they have come up with over the last year.
So why don’t we throw more parties like the neighbors? I suppose it is at least partially the fact that I find going from store to store shopping for birthday party supplies so frustrating and partially because I’m never sure what activities will work for which age group. Perhaps now that I now my neighbors secret of shopping online for her party supplies I could ask her for some activity tips and throw a bigger party next year.
