What Do You Think?
I’m sure you’ve all seen those cute little survey gizmos that bloggers and website owners use to query their readers about everything from the results of their favorite reality show to their favorite foods. You make your choice and then you get to see how other readers responded. Yesterday I was surprised by one that quizzed on life insurance, in particular did you think you had enough. I’m just never sure how to answer that question.
Perhaps if the survey gizmo also came linked to an informative site that could provide you with direction in matters like life insurance, I wouldn’t have been so surprised or unsure of how to answer. Unfortunately it just asked the question and showed me the accumulated responses. I felt a little less alone once I choose the “I don’t know” button and clicked through, it seems many people are just as unsure as I am when it comes to life insurance and how much is really necessary.
Of course, after the reassurance comes the nagging doubt and the realization that just because several hundred other people are confused about their life insurance needs doesn’t make it okay for me to be confused about mine. Fortunately a quick trip to buytermlife.com let me figure out the level of insurance that would best serve my family if I died and allowed me to feel a lot more comfortable about facing those pesky little survey gizmos and their sometimes nagging questions.
