I’m Not Sure
I’m not 100% sure but it seems likely that the little gnome who performs the google searches is
more than a little confused. Every day Grandma and I go about looking at different rental properties in different portions of Memphis hoping to find the perfect one. Almost every day at least one of us ends up distracted by a seemingly unrelated link. We’ve looked at homes in Hawaii, Vancouver, Massachusetts, and Australia our eyes distracted by those catchy banner ads that hover on the edges of the available listings. Today the distraction wasn’t our fault, I blame it on the google gnome.
My search for rental houses somehow brought up an entire string of listings for real estate in Charleston SC. There were some really pretty homes for sale and it’s easy to imagine how we would stretch out and get comfy in all that space; please don’t get me started on the stunning ocean views.
Reality check, a person looking for the best deals on tires for their car should stick to the housing plan and not be distracted by the lovely real estate in Charleston SC. I drag myself away from the page and click the next link only to find myself…
…staring at more real estate in Charleston SC. Perhaps the google gnome knows something we don’t? Perhaps Charleston is our destiny? Perhaps our dream house is just one more click away? Guess again.
Whatever the housing search brings the good news is that the tire search through the online auto shop software finally paid off. I have an appointment early tomorrow morning to get two new tires. And since they didn’t have the ones promised in the quote we get the next tire up at the quoted price, a savings of more than $15 a tire!
