multi-generation madhouse includes pets and meals

I’ve been seeing the decorations, gift idea displays in the discount and dollar stores for a few weeks now, and today I saw a whole section of Christmas stuff in Wal-Mart. It reminds me that I haven’t done any early shopping this year and I’m not likely to as we are so focused on moving.

Thank goodness for all the online shopping alternatives available now. Once we are in our new house I’ll be able to buy everything from fresh Christmas decorations at ProFlowers, to electronics, to books, to petites or big and tall clothing. It seems like a much better option than running from store to store.

I’ve heard people say that the shipping costs of online shopping are too high, but I honestly think that they are quite reasonable especially when compared to the price of gas today. Add to that the convenience of being able to find the tough to find big and tall clothing sizes all from a single location, your computer, instead of running all over town and still not having what you were looking for.

So as soon as we get settled I’ll be heading out on the world wide web for a Christmas wreath and centerpiece from ProFlowers, toys, and perhaps even some big and tall clothing for friends. Until then I’ll just keep looking and packing, and try not to get too distracted.
