Scared
We tried the haunted maze this year. Big mistake! First there was the half mile line of cars moving at a snail’s pace to get to the parking lot. Then there was the long, long, long line for tickets. Add to that the fact that for some reason Miss Muffin thought flip-flops would be appropriate footwear as the temp dropped into the 30′s, yep it was a mess.
When we finally got in there we didn’t make it much past the first marker and Miss Muffin started to melt down. Before long she was absolutely terrorized and there was no good way out. We pushed on to the halfway marker and snuck out. Fortunately it didn’t take a tenth as long to get out of there as it did to get in.
A quick trip to Walmart for some cheering up supplies and we’re were headed home. Now we’re just waiting on some yummy apple crisp.
