A Little Irish
I love Celtic jewelry and have since I was a kid. I suspect that like my desire to someday travel to Ireland, my love of Celtic jewelry is tied to my childhood neighbors from Ireland.
When I was 8 or 9 years old a new family moved in. I was immediately intrigued by their accents and loved playing with all three of their little girls. I always wanted to go to Irish dancing classes with them and wished I had one of the cute dresses they wore for their recitals.
Whatever the cause of my obsession, I have spent a lot of time reading about Ireland, studying maps, and planning trip routes for a vacation I hope to take someday. Perhaps while I’m vacationing I’ll pick up some fabulous handcrafted Celtic jewelry.
Until then if I’m looking for jewelry I can always check out some of the great websites that offer a wide selection of traditional and modern styled jewelry. I could spend all day perusing the pages of rings, bracelets, and necklaces trying to pick out the perfect piece. Maybe I’ll even pick out a pretty set that I can wear together or separately; a way to have a little bit of Irish in every day.
