Christmas Already?
Miss Muffin is fit to be tied each time we go to Walmart as she can’t stand the rushing of Christmas, especially Christmas music. She smacks me each time I forget myself and start to sing along with those old familiar jingles. It surprises me a little because typically kids are big fans of the holiday and easily swept up in all the glitter and toys; but I guess I should be used to her surprises by now.
Of course, she does love that much of the Christmas and winter apparel we’ve seen so far include her favorite animal of all time, penguins! The Christmas lingerie on the other hand gave her a few giggles. She didn’t see how the skimpy garb on the mannequins would keep anyone warm and besides how would you fit your clothes 
over all the fur trim. Obviously the intent of the outfits went right over her head, and I’m okay with that.
It did make me stop for a minute though and try to remember when the last time I owned any Christmas lingerie was. I never did figure the answer to that question out which is more than a little sad. Even sadder was that as I pondered this question images of comfy pj’s kept coming to mind, a far cry from the corset lingerie I’d intended.
Obviously my child is not the only one missing something. Perhaps I’ll invest in some fun Christmas lingerie this holiday season. Only problem then will be… Who to model it for?????
