Showing Sense
I’m always amazed at the lack of common sense and self control many celebrities show when dealing with the media, it seems that the concept of any attention is good attention has really been embraced. This makes it all the more refreshing when I find examples to the contrary like Cory Gunz.
Rather than taking a situation with the potential to explode and setting a match to it like so many celebrities do today, Cory Gunz really worked towards calming frayed nerves and smoothing ruffled feathers.
Such a change from the rap artists of my childhood who thrived in an atmosphere of near constant upheaval and rivalry. Many lost their careers, their freedom, or their lives over perceived insults. Kind of pointless and sad when you think about it so much lost for so little.
Cory Gunz deserves a lot of credit for being so level headed and responsible and not fueling the media and making a lot out of nothing. He shows a lot of maturity for a relatively young man and I suspect that he will achieve a lot in his life time if he approaches everything with the responsibility, dedication, and level-headedness he’s shown in this.
