Happy Thanksgiving!
We’ve enjoyed a quiet day with lots of yummy food. We opted for Cornish hens this year since it’s just the three of us. Even a small turkey last year left us eating leftovers for weeks and I still threw away turkey when the family went on strike and refused to eat any more. Even the cats got tired of eating it.
The black Friday madness has already begun and you won’t see me participating. I don’t care if it’s flat screen televisions, this season’s hottest toy, or discount cigars you won’t catch me standing long lines being herded like cattle in the middle of the night in hopes of scoring a deal.
Miss Muffin choose her colors and basic pattern idea for her bracelet the other day and then it was my turn to go to work. I wound up creating my own pattern as her color choices didn’t work with the original. I like the hearts running down the middle in place of diamonds. It’s really wide considering how tiny her wrist is but as long as she’s happy with it, I’m happy with it. I’m not quite halfway through knotting it but I should be finished before chess tomorrow evening.
