A Chance to Visit
We have family staying in the Calgary area for an extended vacation. They have rented a really pretty place which has prompted me to think of Calgary apartments and homes as a possible moving destination again. Perhaps we’ll go and visit Ben and Dee to get a better look at the area.
I had to laugh when they shared their list of places to visit with us, I don’t think they’ll stop for second if they do everything they’ve planned. Of course, as homeschoolers the chance to visit new places, check out new museums, and try new things always ranks high.
I suppose it would be a good idea to visit during the winter so that we have a clear idea of what the winter weather is really like. I grew up in western New York and visited family in New England during the winter so I’m used to snow and cold; but we’ve been in the south for several years. As long as Grandma doesn’t have to go out too much during cold weather she wouldn’t mind much, I on the other hand will have to go out all the time and need to consider that.
Guess it’s time to figure out when the best time to visit Ben and Dee and how we’ll travel there. But no big decisions before Christmas, there’ll be plenty for that after.
