Growing Concerns and Solutions
We rent our house in Memphis and we’re planning on moving in the coming months so I’m reluctant to plant too much in the ground at this point. I’ve started a few things in pots, but it won’t work for anything that isn’t relatively drought resistant because it gets so hot here at times that I’ve seen plants dry up and wilt after being thoroughly watered at 5:00 am. Of course, the next week they are flooded and limp with nature’s over watering.
Because of all this I was really excited when I heard about Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™ and learned that it works in the ground or in pots, has all natural fibers that hold up to 50% more water than basic potting soil, and feeds plants for up to six months! Add to that the fact that Expand ‘n Gro produces up to three times the flowers and vegetables versus native soil and can significantly improve the soil for multiple years and you can see why I am excited to give it a try.
Expand ‘n Gro seems like it will make the whole process of spring planting simple and easy and since it regulates moisture and feeds continuously I won’t have as many worries about our plants as we pack and move. Now I just need to figure out the best way to transport them to the new place, any ideas?
