Nobody can deny that Grandma has a sense of humor. Let’s establish that she is not musically challenged. She was an avid pianist in her youth, still plays her keyboard occasionally and has fond memories of jamming with friends and relatives. As an adult, she enjoyed our local symphony and also frequented many of the local jazz and blues spots. Yet, when Miss Muffin started talking about Pearl Marching Toms the other day, she had just one thing to say:
I don’t care if they are male or female. It doesn’t matter if they are white, orange or black. I don’t want anymore cats in this house.
Guess trying to place rescue cats has gotten to her, but I think she was joking. Then again, maybe not.
