VLS Viniagrette

    Ingredients:

  • 4 1/2 tsp ground seasonings
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar (any variety)
  • 1/2 cup olive or canola oil
    Directions:

  1. Put vinegar, water, and seasonings into cruet or jar, close, and shake well.
  2. add oil to container and shake again.
  3. store in refrigerator

Notes:
We use Mrs. Dash or other no sodium spice mixes for our seasonings and then grind them in a coffee grinder we keep especially for this purpose. Have also made it using italian seasonings (2 1/2 tsp), garlic powder (1 tsp), & onion powder (1 tsp). We like this especially well with either the traditional or white balsamic vinegar.
