So this is what passes for clear skies in my neck of the woods. We were pleased as punch to get an entire two and a half hours at the zoo with no rain. We didn’t quite make it through the trip to the library afterwards; but you take what you can get. On the way home from the library…
It’s probably the feeblest excuse for a rainbow ever; but who am I to complain. When you haven’t seen the sun in over a week you just aren’t that picky. The sun is supposed to come out of hiding over the weekend and stay with us through the coming week! Hope everyone has a great weekend, we will be enjoying every drop of sunshine we get.

It looks like you’ve been having some stormy weather. Those dark, gloomy clouds make for an interesting photo though! I’ll try to send some of our sun your way (I wouldn’t mind a little rain and storminess myself).

Those are beautiful shots. It’s been dark here for over a week too and today was the longest stretch of sunlight. I happened to walk out of my office and saw that it was dark again at 3 p.m., but that’s so much better than being dark all day.

I’d love to send you some sunshine! It’s supposed to be 103 here tomorrow. We go for weeks in the summer with nary a cloud in the sky. I guess it’s a case of “the grass is always greener….” Hope the sun shines in your sky.

I find cloudy skies so very exciting and beautiful. We don’t get many around here and I kinda miss them.

Lovely skies if a bit rough looking. Many shades of gray range from dark to darker. Yet the faint brightness in the distance gives us hope that the storms will leave the vicinity soon!

For the past days, we have the same skies here. The storm has landed and it left the whole city submerged in water.
