“Ooh La La! J’adore your blog!” Award

This “Ooh La La! J’adore your blog!” award was given to me by Christine at Booktumbling on Thursday and when I accepted it I did promise to post about it on Friday. Can we say distracted much, I am a horrible blogger. So today I am going to try and do the right thing by showing off my new award (it’s up there at the top of this post), answering the questions that come along with it (they are down there beneath this paragraph), and getting it into my sidebar (it will get there soon if it’s not already).

1. Where is your favorite place to read a book?  Anywhere really, I have a recliner that I love but it is often claimed so the loveseat, the bed, the big brown chair, they all work.
2. Bookmarks or dog ears?  I really try to use bookmarks but they have this habit of disappearing, so I often resort to scraps of paper, receipts, and other odds and ends; dog ears are a thing of last resort and never on a new hardcover, I’d rather lose my place.
3. What is the best book you have read so far this year?  Wow, if I’m honest it’s slightly embarrassing to admit that I had seen Gone With The Wind but never read the book, until this year that is. Of everything I’ve read so far this year its the first book I thought of when I read this question.
4. Do you like to snack while reading and if so, what is your favorite snack?  Sometimes, mostly things that are dry and non-staining (pretzels, some crackers), especially for borrowed books. I almost always have a drink of some kind near by.
5. Book borrower or book collector?  I’m a collector at heart, not a good thing when homeschooling, but the budget keeps the collecting down to the most loved books and series the rest are swaps and library books.
